Pregnancy with an Ostomy (Shaz’s Ostomy Pages) Pregnancy with an ostomy is as normal as one without one. I had one child before ostomy surgery and 2 afterwards. The pregnancies were normal, no problems. I had c sections for both, mainly because I had the first one that way. I actually thought the pregnancies after surgery were easier.
